The Mark School

The Mark School (TMS) is an autonomous, digitalized Islamic educational system located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. Established in 2022, it evolved from an idea conceived in 2019 under the Direction Schools. The school was founded by Dr. Saqib Muhammad Khan with the vision of propagating an Islamic Integrated Cambridge Education. TMS provides a comprehensive academic pathway from Preschool to O-Levels, blending the internationally recognized Cambridge curriculum with a strong emphasis on Islamic values, rituals, and the love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The school's core philosophy is to nurture a 21st-century skills-based system that fosters analytical thinking, problem-solving, and spiritual growth alongside conventional academic standards. A unique feature of The Mark School is its dedicated Research & Development (R&D) Department, which ensures that all curricula, from junior to senior levels, are integrated with Quranic teachings and Ahadith by recognized scholars. The school also features specialized Nazra & Hifz-ul-Quran sections that incorporate STEM techniques, especially in early childhood education, to enhance cognitive and motor skills. The Mark School operates across three specialized campuses: Main Campus (D-3, Block 7): Features modern classrooms, science and computer labs, a library, and robotics facilities. Junior Campus (D-41, Block 4): Focuses on play-based learning, Montessori training, and foundational Islamic grooming for young learners. Girls Campus (Near Iqra University, Block 7): An empowering environment dedicated to academic excellence and character development for girls. Key academic and extracurricular highlights include: No formal examinations until Grade II, replaced by continuous class-based assessment. STEM and Robotics program with hands-on activities, robotics kits, and coding modules integrated from early years to O-Levels. "GUIDANCE" and "ENLIGHTEN" programs for structured Islamic tarbiyah, including obligatory Zuhr prayer in congregation. Comprehensive sports, arts, and community service initiatives to ensure holistic development.
